Three Squares A Day
I work in series creating paintings with a homemaker sensibility. Embedding bits of canvas, paper, and small items into encaustic wax establishes a foundation of reuse. I search for patterns of structure and disorder through gouging and scraping the layers. The underlying system sets the stage for the next series.
