Aims & Scope

LUX highlights research by scholars who have never presented at a conference before and who submitted and presented at Claremont Graduate University’s yearly Student Research Conference. LUX is particularly interested in the work of graduate students around the world.

General topics of interest may include and are not limited to:

  • Economics/Industry
  • Education
  • Feminism/Gender Studies
  • Health Issues
  • Organizational Behavior
  • Philosophy
  • Queer/GLBTQ Issues
  • Religion
  • Students of Color/Issues of Color
  • Visual Culture/Media
  • In order to lower barriers to publication for authors, LUX does not charge submission or any other form of author fees. The only eligibility to submit is to participate and present at Claremont Graduate University’s Student Research Conference.
