Hess is the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dean of the Faculty, James G. Boswell Professor of Economics and a George R. Roberts Fellow at Claremont McKenna College. Dean Hess has been instrumental in advocating to the faculty regarding the requirement for CMC seniors to post their theses in Scholarship@Claremont.
