Abstract
This thesis paper accompanies a short film that was made as part of the senior seminar/thesis program for Intercollegiate Media Studies. The film is titled “Tasting Memory”, and is a narrative documentary that explores my family’s relationship to a family recipe, and the cultural and historical ties to this recipe. This thesis paper outlines three parts of the process of making this film: Theory, Methodology, and Reflection.
