Abstract

PreLectures are video tutorials that are used in Prof. Thomas Poon's organic chemistry course in the WM Keck Science Department at Claremont McKenna, Pitzer, and Scripps Colleges, 3 of the 7 Claremont Colleges in Southern California. In Dr. Poon's course, PreLectures are assigned as homework to facilitate discussion and other in-class activities. They typically cover core concepts or material that students often find to be difficult. The PreLecture Project is made possible by a grant from the Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation.
