Abstract

With my Senior Thesis, I wanted to expand upon the video project I completed for my Media Studies capstone last semester, by giving a voice to the thoughts I have either suppressed in myself or only symbolically represented rather than explicitly expressed. Shifting from a more abstract representation of the familial trauma that has always affected me, as I did with my film “you, her, me,” I now create a series of monologues or short messages directed to the main characters of the aforementioned desktop-style film.
