About

EnviroLab Asia publishes student, faculty, and staff scholarship that integrates Asian and Environmental Studies at the Claremont Colleges and its collaborating institutions, including Yale-NUS in Singapore. This publishing venture is funded by The Henry Luce Foundation’s Luce Initiative on Asian Studies and the Environment (LIASE), and is part of the larger project also known as EnviroLab Asia, an interdisciplinary examination of some of the key environmental issues that Asia has confronted, and will continue to confront, across the 21st Century. EnviroLab Asia—publication and project—depends on a reciprocal process of mutual discovery in which Claremont student and faculty researchers work with international and regional partners to study, test, and evaluate methods and measures to address these central issues. EnviroLab Asia is a five-college initiative at the Claremont Colleges anchored at Claremont McKenna College.
