Abstract

Résumé :

Une étude très récente de parémiologie contrastive entre le kabyle et l’arabe algérien montre, par-delà l’« isomorphisme » parémiologique existant entre les deux langues-cultures, qu’un certain nombre de mots de l’arabe dialectal seraient des emprunts à l’amazighe. C’est l’étude de ces emprunts au plan lexico-sémantique, et subsidiairement étymologique, qui constitue l’objet de notre proposition de contribution. Nous commencerons chaque fois par la vérification des données en arabe classique et en dialectal algérien, avant d’analyser les matériaux amazighs et d’en tirer les conclusions qui s’imposent.

Lexical borrowing of Algerian Arabic from Amazigh: a study on a paremiological corpus

Abstract:

A very recent study of contrastive paremiology between Kabyle and Algerian dialectal Arabic shows, beyond the paremiological "isomorphism" existing between the two languages-cultures, that a certain number of words of dialectal Arabic would be loanwords from Berber. The study of these loanwords at the lexico-semantic level, and subsidiarily etymological constitutes the object of our proposed contribution. We will start each time by verifying the data in classical Arabic and Algerian dialects before analyzing the Amazigh materials and drawing the necessary conclusions.
