Abstract
This is a documentary about the complex identity that forms in young female gymnasts and the training culture that causes it. The video is a compilation of three interviews of ex-gymnasts. The interviews are fixed with one gymnast doing gymnastics. This gymnast represents a body for the audience to place the stories.
The video is my thesis. The paper is about some of the theory and process behind it.
