Description
Drips are commonly uncontrolled in paintings. In my current work, I strive to differentiate between gestural mark-marking and my own calculated mark making. The paintings subvert the simple reading of drip paintings by creating diverse and gravity defying drips. The work becomes graphic and optical through the vertical drips and use of colors.
