Abstract
Chadda's comparative analysis of democracy in India, Nepal, and Pakistan examines the processes of recent (post-Cold War) democratization in South Asia within a common frame. Chadda aims to insert the study of South Asia into the now burgeoning literature on comparative democratization, a much needed goal.
