Abstract
Global inequality has always been hideous, and it has gotten worse in the past few decades. The capitalist distribution of wealth and high inheritance rate is incompatible with democratic goals. A significant portion of wealth assets are gotten and kept unfairly, and social wealth funds could help address the problem. This scheme has government tax wealth and reinvest it for all citizens. Profits are currently enjoyed by a very few. Social wealth funds make it so everyone owns and benefits from the economy, and raising the minimum standard of living.
