Abstract
CMC Shuttle System - User & Driver Apps
The Claremont McKenna College (CMC) Shuttle System is a comprehensive solution designed to improve the transportation experience between the CMC campus and Alexan Kendry (AK) residential area. This system comprises two mobile applications - the CMC Shuttle User App for students and the CMC Shuttle Driver App for drivers. Developed using the Flutter framework and Dart programming language, these applications address the challenges faced by CMC students and drivers, such as inefficient real-time tracking, inconvenient access to shuttle schedules, and manual record-keeping. By leveraging the Firebase Realtime Database for communication and data storage, the CMC Shuttle System enables real-time location tracking, efficient scheduling, and digital record-keeping. As a result, the system enhances convenience, safety, and efficiency for both students and drivers, ultimately improving the overall transportation experience.
