Abstract
This thesis will highlight the different ways in which Christian morality has integrated itself into the essence of America, and the more discrete ways it is used to damage the function of modern society. The institutionalized mechanisms of oppression and suppression evolved as the country matured in ways more invisible, yet harmful. Bringing light to these invisible harms is the first step towards erasing them.
