Abstract
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, employees have been largely in favor of remote or hybrid work. Employees cite an increased quality of life, and some studies find increased productivity. While many managers and investors are skeptical of the economic impact of remote work, there are no existing studies that quantify the economic impact of remote, hybrid, and fully in office work policies. This paper will attempt to understand the financial implications of remote, hybrid, and in office policies. This paper will first analyze the connection between these policies and firm stock price. Then this paper will analyze the connection between these policies and firm changes in income and revenue.
