Abstract

This paper looks at the various forms of concealed carry (CC) permitting policy and attempts to determine whether more restrictive forms or less restrictive forms of CC policy yield a greater benefit to society, in reducing incidence of homicide and crime more generally. This study utilizes multiple regression analysis and employs a panel dataset inclusive of all fifty states in the US for the years 2000-2017.

This thesis is restricted to the Claremont Colleges current faculty, students, and staff.
