Abstract

This paper explores the concepts behind the thesis project: an Augmented Reality (AR) book adapted from A Touch of Green by Pai Hsien-yung. It delves into the project from various angles, including AR, multimedia, and fan art, connecting them with relevant media theories. While the project's genre may be considered niche, the paper also discusses several similar projects, comparing and contrasting them with the thesis project. The latter part of the paper focuses on the project's process, spanning from experimentation to production and troubleshooting. Although the final delivery may not have aligned perfectly with initial expectations, it effectively realizes the fusion of literature and AR in the format of a projected installation.
