Abstract

Planet Rock is a short documentary that follows senior climate activists in the organization Third Act, a coalition of people over 60 who engage in non-violent direct action to address the climate crisis. By interweaving protest footage with intimate interviews, Planet Rock presents a heartfelt call to action, calling into question the stories we tell ourselves about getting older. It is ultimately a celebration of the human capacity for transformation and meaningful action at any stage of life.
