Abstract
What do the discussions and debates about credible evidence offer practitioners? I will attempt to answer this question for you by briefly providing some observations about the diversity and changing nature of the enterprise, by offering some lessons of my own applied research and evaluation practice, and by discussing how practitioners might address some of the key issues and challenges of collecting credible evidence raised throughout the chapter in this volume.
