Abstract
This thesis focuses on the Chinese Government's genocide against the Uighur Muslims in Xinjiang, China as of 2017. The paper is broken down into four distinct sections including background history of the Uighur Muslims, the culture of the Uighur Muslims, an explanation of human rights abuses being taken against the Uighur Muslims with particular emphasis on the stories of survivors, and the response from the international community.
