Copyright
As a condition of publication in Mime Journal, all authors agree to the following terms of licensing/copyright ownership:
First publication rights to original work accepted for publication is granted to Mime Journal. However, the author(s) copyright on all work published in the journal is retained by the author(s).
Unless otherwise requested, works published in Mime Journal will be distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial No-Derivatives License, CC BY-NC-ND. The CC BY-NC-ND license is for non-commercial purposes, it lets others distribute and copy the article, and allows the work to be included in a collective work (such as an anthology), as long as they credit the author(s) and provided they do not alter or modify the article.
Exceptions to the application of the CC BY-NC-ND license may be granted at the author's request or at the editors’ discretion, if reasonable extenuating circumstances exist. Such exceptions must be granted in writing by the editors of Mime Journal; in the absence of a written exception, the CC BY-NC-ND license will be applied by default to all published works.
Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the work, as long as initial publication in Mime Journal is acknowledged and credited.
Authors are permitted to post their work in online institutional or disciplinary repositories, or on their own websites. Pre-print versions posted online should include a citation and link to the final published version in Mime Journal as soon as the issue is available; post-print versions (including the final publisher's PDF) should include a citation and link to the Mime Journal website.
